Isle of Wedmore Golf Club is known to be one of Somersets friendliest clubs, extending a warm and friendly welcome to members and visitors alike. The beautiful parkland course has been constructed using the natural contours of the natural environment and offers 18 challenging holes that stretch over 6000 yards.
The Isle of Wedmore Golf Club was founded in 1992 and it’s stunning location gives visitors panoramic views of the Mendip Hills, Cheddar Valley, and the Somerset Levels. This Parkland course has been expertly constructed to use all of the natural contours of the surroundings to create a challenging par-70 course that runs over 6000 yards. The location of the course offers some of the best views of the Somerset countryside for you to enjoy during your round.
The front nine at Isle of Widmore offers a good variety of holes including 3 par threes, while the back 9 has it’s own version of amen corner with three long par 5’s one after the other, and a tricky par 3 over water. Shot placement is key when playing at the Isle of Wedmore, as a single shot can be the difference between a good and bad hole. However the course has been designed for both experienced and new players alike, so visitors of any skill level will enjoy their visit.
