Stinchcombe Golf Club is a fantastic hill top downland course, nestled in beautiful surroundings on the edge of the Cotswolds and boasts some of the finest views in all of the South West.
The course drains very well and offers a challenging round whilst being presented in immaculate condition all year round. The course has been continuously developed since the original 9-hole layout was built in 1889, with the legendary Fred Hawtree redesigning the course in the 1920s and 30s. This has resulted in a course that runs quite short but has been designed to offer quite a technical challenge to golfers of all levels.
The surroundings in which the course is set are some of the most beautiful in the South West, enjoying fantastic views of the surrounding Cotswolds and Severn Estuary, while the course itself is home to numerous sites of historic interest that are in place to protect wildflowers and birds.
A great addition to a North Bristol or Cotswold golf break.
