Thurlestone Golf Club

Thurlestone Golf Club is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, running along the coastline of Bigbury Bay. It offers fantastic views of the dramatic Cornish coastline and the Avon Estuary while offering fantastic golf on a course designed by Harry Colt.
The course itself offers an exhilarating golfing experience, with spectacular views of the rocky seascape, good protection from the wind, and a different challenge on each hole.
The first 12 holes are magnificent and stretch right along the headland, offering a true links experience but with well maintained fairways that encourage a good strike of the ball. The course then sees a series of well designed par 5s and a finishing 3 holes that are truly memorable.
The clubhouse is ideally located to give spectacular views of the 18th hole giving you the opportunity to have a post round beer with quite the view!

Thurlestone Golf Club: Local Area
Thurlestone is located within the South Hams area, in an attractive village with several old cottages. Much modern building has been done since this remote coast was “discovered,” but the village remains one of the most pleasing on the South coast.
