Course Overview
Nestled within mature and unspoiled parkland settings, The Crown Course is a challenging par-69 course that stretches 6,252-yards through the beautiful Cotswolds and poses a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. The course is an easy walk and is rich in features, with woodland areas and lakes and bunkers strategically placed throughout the course, it will require well-placed shots to stay out of trouble.
The par 69 means that there is a premium on scoring and solid iron shorts are required to find the small greens. A complete contrast to the sister course, The Cromwell.
The Crown Course is home to more of the original holes and for a long while was often the favoured by the members. As the Cromwell has matured the split is now more 50:50, but the Crown is still a great test!
Off the course the complex boasts a driving range, pro shop, short game area and putting green. The clubhouse is set in semi-permanent accommodation. There are also a number of bedrooms used for weddings and events, plus a grand manor house which is well worth having a look around if there is an opportunity!
