Overlooking the harbour of Padstow, the 23 room Old Custom House is a cosy, convenient place to stay for Trevose, St Enodoc, Newquay or the Point at Polzeath.
The word ‘cosy ’ often conjures up connotations like ‘small’ or ‘pokey ’ but this is certainly not the case here. The Old Custom House has long been a pub, providing a focal point for Padstow fishermen, local people and visitors to enjoy a drink and a bar meal. Today the large bar area and the sunny conservatory welcome families. Serving stylish pub grub, washed down with award winning St Austell Brewery ales and a choice of good wines throughout the year. Next door to the Old Custom House is Pescadou restaurant. Although part of the inn, Pescadou is far from the pub atmosphere.
It excels in providing contemporary, informal dining with all dishes cooked to order in the open plan kitchen. Guests can relax in the well-equipped Beauty Studio, which provides an extensive range of beauty and holistic treatments. There is also a modern, professional hair salon. Brewer & Bean coffee shop, overlooking the quay is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the hustle and bustle of Padstow harbour.
It is open daily serving a range of hot beverages, hot and cold snacks and tempting pastries.
