Course overview

Officially the 87th best golf course in the World, 28th in the UK, 11th in England and #1 in Cornwall. St Enodoc Golf Club is a links course of perfection situated on the northern Cornish coast, boasting spectacular views overlooking the River Camel and outwards into the Atlantic Ocean.
The fact you are reading this means you may be interested in a golf break including Cornwall’s golf jewel. Each hole feels unique due to the undulating terrain and tight fairways.

Courage, accuracy and concentration is a must if players want to make a good score. The latter can, however, prove a little tricky as you look out across the stunning Camel Estuary at Padstow and the Atlantic Ocean from your perfectly manicured location.

Based in Rock, the Golf Club is easily accessible from Padstow, Newquay, Bude, Truro, Bodmin, Saltash & Launceston. If you want to play the best of the best during your stay in Cornwall, then St Enodoc is a must!

Course overview

Set deep in southern Cornwall, just a few miles from the most southerly point of the British mainland, Mullion Golf Club is a challenging 6000 yard course that offers players the finest in links golf. We challenge you to find a more rugged and dramatic setting to play golf.

What this course may lack is length is made up for in setting and condition. Mullion is regularly described as Cornwall’s hidden golfing gem. Well, it has fast become one of our clients favourite courses, so perhaps not so hidden any more! The course is in fantastic playing condition all year round and offers clifftop views over Mounts Bay, Gunwalloe Church and the nearby beaches.

The wind can be a significant factor and accuracy is at a premium. With the stunning views and challenging holes, this course has all the ingredients for a fantastic day of golf. Make sure Mullion is on your list if you are venturing anywhere near south Cornwall on your next get away.

If you are interested in a golf tour for this region we advise you take a look at West Cornwall Golf Club, Perranporth Golf Club or Tehidy Park Golf Club. We suggest staying at the Harbour Inn, Gwel an Mor Resort or the Old Quay House.

Course overview

Perranporth Golf Club was designed by famous course architect James Braid and is located on the rugged cliffs above the beaches of Perranporth. This wonderfully constructed links ranks inside the top 100 courses in the UK and is one of the South West’s foremost golfing destinations.

Forever the bridesmaid to its better known Atlantic neighbours (Trevose & St Enodoc), Perranporth has been called the South West’s hidden gem. In more recent years it is however rightfully receiving the accolades it deserves, moving up to a ranking of 2nd in Cornwall and 62nd in England.

Perranporth Golf Club is full of natural contours, which means each hole is a unique experience. This 6296 yard, par 72 with its undulating fairways, lightning-fast greens and picturesque backdrops, provide an exciting challenge for players of all standards. If you are heading anyway near Padstow, Newquay, or Truro during your time in Cornwall, you simply must take a trip over to Budnic Hill and Perranporth Golf Club.

We recommend staying in a Newquay hotel, on-site at Perranporth, at Gwel an Mor Luxury Lodges or in Truro for your golf break.

Course overview

Built around the sand dunes of Porthkidney, West Cornwall Golf Club offers panoramic views from almost every hole. The oldest course in the Duchy, the course runs 5,847 yards along the banks of the River Hayle and the cliff tops that overlook St Ives Bay.

Due to its location, the course can largely change depending on the wind, meaning you may never have the same experience twice, this coupled with the stunning location, makes this Cornwall links a must-visit!

Regularly ranking well inside Cornwall’s top 10 courses, West Cornwall is the definition that length does not always define the quality of a course. Over the years the course has produced some truly magnificent golfers, including “Long” Jim Barnes, a 4-time major winner!

This wonderful links is a firm favourite of the Cornwall golf tour and regularly paired with the likes of Perranporth, Mullion, Tehidy Park and Newquay to produce a simply unforgettable golf break!

Course overview

Tehidy Park Golf Club is a traditional, well maintained, 18 hole, par 71 parkland, members golf course set in beautiful countryside just west of Redruth and very close to Portreath beach. This traditional parkland golf course features a mix of streams, ponds and tree lined fairways putting a premium on accuracy.

Despite its length (a little over 6200 yards) good scoring requires some solid golf. Tehidy Park offers your golf group value for money and will be a welcome addition to any golf tour. If you are looking to stay nearby, Gwel an Mor Resort is a 2 minute drive, or for those looking for something central the Tyacks Hotel in Camborne is an excellent option. The parish of Illogan, where Tehidy is located is ideally situated as a base for a tour incorporating the likes of Perranporth, West Cornwall, Mullion, Truro and Cape Cornwall.
