Designed in 1926 by J F Abercromby, Bovey Castle Golf Club is a challenging and beautiful 18-hole championship course, originally designed to rival its sister courses Gleneagles and Turnberry, this course offers a golfing experience never to be forgotten. The course itself offers an exhilarating and challenging golfing experience, offering players a pure golfing challenge that meanders through the hotel estate, all the while surrounded by stunning Devonshire landscapes.
The Bovey Castle course can play at up to 6,600 yards, with a picturesque front nine that will be sure to create memorable moments. Bovey Castle also offers a fully-equipped clubhouse, modern driving range, and the Smith’s brasserie for post-round drinks & snacks.
