Course overview
The Brabazon course at the legendary Belfry Hotel & Resort needs no introduction, steeped in Ryder Cup history the Brabazon has hosted the annual showdown between the EU and US 3 times, more than any other course. Being the mecca of golf for many, there is a certain energy in the air when you visit the Belfry, with much of the excitement coming from walking this famous course and playing all of the memorable holes you may have seen throughout the years. Two of the most memorable of theses holes are the 10th and 18th, both par 4s boasting dangerous water features/ The 10th is a unique hole with water running along the side of the fairway, measuring only 300 yards this hole is driveable for the big hitters, but you will need distance and accuracy as the water along the right side of the fairway will be ready to swallow any wayward tee shots. The dramatic 18th hole is another par 4 totally dominated by water, giving you the opportunity to cut the corner as much as you want to put yourself into a better position for your second, but again any inaccurate shots will be quickly punished. This hole has seen many of the most dramatic moments in Ryder Cup history, for this reason and to follow in the footsteps of some of the sports legends, The Brabazon is a must visit course for anyone
